How to Support Our Lady of Victory School
Our Lady of Victory School is home to a burgeoning population of bright and eager students. The school celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2005. It has remained faithful to its mission of providing a quality education with strong Christian values, one which includes not only strong academics, but ethical and moral development as well.
OLV has begun an annual giving drive, the first in its history. The school board has drawn up a strategic plan to update the current facilities and is evaluating ways to expand current space in order to provide the highest level of education in today's environment. The windows, boiler, and lighting are due for replacement this year. These structural enhancements will result in more energy efficiency, with attendant cost savings and safety improvements. Installation of central air conditioning will be done as part of the heating renovation and will allow for summer activities such as camps. The total cost for this year's improvements is approximately $500,000, based on estimates from reliable firms. OLV needs to raise this money through donations. To date $300,000 has been raised, and the remaining $200,000 has been borrowed so that the project can be completed this summer. We need to raise this $200,000 to pay for the project and prepare for the next phase of improvements. Your generous donation to this fund will help generations of students! OLV also has an endowment fund, which is used to support special programs for the school and to provide scholarship assistance to a limited number of students. Contributions to the Endowment Fund, or general contributions to the school for operational expenses, are also solicited and greatly appreciated!
